Trenchless Sewer Repair

Trenchless Sewer Repair in Hurst

Cast Iron & Sewer Team Serving Hurst Homeowners

Most plumbers treat trenchless repair as a side service. At C&E Pipe Services, it’s core to what we do. We focus on complex sewer and drain work, including the cast iron systems that have been aging under Hurst homes for decades. Every job starts with a detailed camera inspection, and we don’t recommend repairs we can’t back up with what the camera actually shows. We’re fully licensed and insured, regulated by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and we serve Hurst and the broader Dallas-Fort Worth area, including North Richland Hills.

We offer free estimates, same-day availability, and we’ll beat any competitor’s written price on sewer line repair or replacement, provided the quote is from a comparable licensed and insured contractor, on official letterhead, with matching scope, materials, and warranty.

Trenchless Methods We Use

Two methods cover most trenchless sewer repairs: CIPP lining and pipe bursting. CIPP, or cured-in-place pipe lining, inserts an epoxy-saturated liner into the existing pipe. Once cured, it forms a new pipe within the old one, sealing cracks, corroded sections, and root intrusion points without removing the original line. This method works well when the host pipe is still structurally sound enough to support a liner.

Pipe bursting is used when the pipe is too deteriorated or collapsed for lining. A bursting head pulls new pipe through the old line while fracturing it outward, replacing the line without a continuous trench. We install schedule 40 PVC in these applications, engineered to resist corrosion, root intrusion, and ground shifting. Both methods require small access pits at entry and exit points but eliminate the full-length trench that traditional open-cut excavation demands.

When conditions call for it, we also handle traditional excavation in-house, including hand-digging to protect landscaping and tunneling or saw-cutting under driveways and sidewalks. No subcontractors. That means one crew, one point of accountability, and no coordination gaps mid-project.

Why Hurst Homeowners Work With C&E Pipe Services

Camera technology made a real difference for one of our customers, Chris R., who noted the inspection saved him thousands by avoiding unnecessary digging. That’s not unusual. A detailed inspection before any work begins means you only pay for what your pipe actually needs, not a best guess based on symptoms alone.

Our pricing is transparent. No hidden fees, no line items that appear after the fact. The price-beat policy reinforces that commitment, and for jobs where upfront cost is a concern, we offer flexible financing options. Warranties are tailored to the scope and method of each job rather than a one-size-fits-all policy.

We develop a project plan matched to your property layout and pipe condition before work starts. When the job is done, we close it with pressure testing and a final inspection to confirm code compliance and correct performance. We don’t consider a job finished until it passes both.

Cast Iron Pipes & Hurst Homes

A large portion of Hurst’s housing stock was built before 1980, and most of those homes have original cast iron sewer and drain piping still in place. Cast iron is durable, but it corrodes over decades. The interior surface roughens, collects buildup, and eventually cracks or fails at the joints, often beneath the slab foundation where access is difficult without significant disruption.

Cast iron work is our focus. We handle full system replacements, including cast iron to PVC conversions, and we bring that same assessment approach to trenchless repair. A camera inspection tells us whether the pipe still has enough structural integrity for CIPP lining or whether pipe bursting or full replacement is the right call. Not every damaged cast iron line qualifies for trenchless methods, and we won’t recommend lining a pipe that won’t support it. That honest assessment is what separates a repair that holds from one that fails within a few years.

Inspections, Pricing & What You Know Before You Commit

Every engagement starts with a detailed sewer camera inspection to locate damage, identify the cause, and determine the full scope before any repair recommendation is made. This prevents over-scoping: you pay for what the pipe actually needs, not a repair sized to a worst-case assumption. Where leak detection is part of the diagnostic picture, hydrostatic testing (which pressurizes the system to identify breaches) is available as part of that process.

Pricing is transparent from the estimate forward. No fees appear after the quote. If you have a written estimate from a comparable licensed and insured contractor, on official letterhead, for the same scope, materials, and warranty, we’ll beat it. Financing options are available for larger projects. The goal is a clear picture of what you need and what it costs before you make any commitment, not after.

    "I highly recommend!"

And they were diligent with their clean up after the job under the house was completed. Their rates were also fair and on the lower end of other companies. I highly recommend!
